The livestock fair is an event that takes place annually in the month of June in the city of Montería, Córdoba, Colombia. It has been carried out since 1960 in order to commemorate the creation of the Department of Córdoba on June 18, 1952.
At the fair there are different events such as bovine contests, exhibitions, artisan fair, among others and brings together farmers from all over the country. Parallel to the fair, the national contest of Livestock since 1961 and the international contest of livestock since 2008, where candidates from all over Latin America participate is also held.
