Gabriela Mistral, seudónimo de Lucila Godoy Alcayaga[2](Vicuña, 7 de abril de 1889-Nueva York, 10 de enero de 1957),[3]fue una poetisa, diplomática, profesora y pedagogachilena. Por su trabajo poético, recibió el Premio Nobel de Literatura en 1945. Fue la primera mujer iberoamericana[n 1]y la segunda persona latinoamericana[n 2]en recibir un Premio Nobel.
